OGA award holds a once in a life time event centered on excellence.

The fifth edition of the Ogitech student’s award 2022 tagged awarding excellence didn’t fall short of the enthusiasm, the show awarded excellence based on merit, hard work, creativity and passion.

The event was filled with glitz and glamour and saw creative and intellectual students from all departments battle in categories ranging from most beautiful, popular, influential and so on, the award for most intelligent was reserved for Afolabi Sodiq who won the award based on Merit and not voting.

There were so many high points from the event but perhaps the only low was the lack of time keeping as with other events on campus which have the tag ‘African time’ there was three hours delay before the welcome speech that was presented by Architect Ogini Olalekan Ebenezer the staff adviser for OGA awards.

Further excellence took Centre stage as Ayodele Taiwo (Tkong) won the best musical artist category and blessed guests and fellow nominees with a performance of his hit song, his performance was accompanied by other musical guests including BJ show, in the creative department, Bankole Azeez aka Dj Lampard won best DJ. The award for popularity and the campus shakers both went to Bello ganiu as Adebayo fatal clinched the most influential category

The event was critically apprised by attendees and nominees who enjoyed the entertainment from the mc’s and musical guests, other winners on the night included the most beautiful for Mbadiugha Chidera Sarah, student madiba for Damilola olamoyegun (Dammy G), Azubike David won student journalist, Mustapha Ridwan won best sportsman, big bold and beautiful went to Chinaza Akpatulu, Eyanohonre Efe from computer science won the best president on the night making it 9 awards for his department, Ayanbi tauwo won entrepreneur of the year Mr ogini was also awarded best-dressed staff in the only category for teaching staff, Ettah Mbasekei Usabg won the best-dressed president and was perhaps the best dressed male the event.
